I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Hatfield Condo in Pretoria, and while the location is ideally tucked away in a serene spot near the city center, my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by several issues. The first thing that struck me was the charming ambience of Hatfield, dotted with lovely foreign embassies and just a short distance from the Union Buildings. Once we settled in, the reality fell short of our expectations. Our double room had a private entrance, and I appreciated the idea of a shared kitchen area, but the cleanliness left much to be desired-the tiled floors were less than welcoming, and the light fittings were bare. We found the shared bathroom with a walk-in shower to be rather inconvenient, given that the amenities fell short of basic comfort. In all honesty, despite the property's potential for a relaxing getaway, the upkeep and attention to detail were lacking. I walked away feeling like I had just wasted an opportunity for a cozy retreat, especially as someone who appreciates the beauty of serene locations and the luxury of a well-kept space.
